Barcelona and Madrid (empadronamiento)
As mandated by Law 7/1985, permanent residents are required to register with the city council (empadronamiento), within three months of arrival.
For travelers staying in Barcelona and Madrid, Ukio apartments are designed for temporary stays and are explicitly stated as such in Clause 4 of the General Terms and Conditions of the lease agreement. This means that while residents may need to fulfill their legal obligations regarding municipal registration, our agreements do not imply or offer the accommodation for permanent residency.
Lisbon
All Ukio apartments in Lisbon are registered with the Tax and Customs Authority. This registration ensures that we are compliant with local housing regulations, and serves to facilitate the visa process for guests. By being registered under this authority, our apartments contribute to a streamlined and efficient process for guests navigating visa requirements in Lisbon.
Paris
For travelers staying in Paris, Ukio apartments are designed for temporary stays and are explicitly stated as such in Clause 4 of the General Terms and Conditions of the lease agreement. As such, it does not imply or offer the accommodation for permanent residency.
