How does the cleaning process work?

For guests staying in Lisbon, local regulations prohibit us from providing complementary cleaning services. Guests will have to book their own cleaning service themselves. However, we can recommend two third-party cleaning services to contact.


Cleaning service 1: OSCAR App

Ukio is an official partner of OSCAR, which means you can avail of a 20% discount on every cleaning service booking.

How to make a booking:

  1. Download the OSCAR app and create an account.
  2. Select your preferred date and time for cleaning.
  3. In the check-out process, apply code Ukio20 for the 20% discount.
  4. Confirm and pay.

NOTE: OSCAR requires 24 hours notice for all bookings so same-day cleanings cannot be done.


Cleaning service 2: Mais Que Limpar

Mais Que Limpar is another cleaning service option, although they are not an official Ukio partner.

To avail of their services, you can call them directly at +351 933 317 428.

NOTE: Mais Que Limpar requires 48 hours notice for all bookings so same-day cleanings cannot be done.


Do I need to remain in the apartment during the cleaning?

Although we work with a trusted third-party service for the cleaning, we always recommend full caution when there are other people in the apartment. Ukio cannot guarantee that no incidences may occur and will not be held responsible for any losses.

If you need to leave the apartment while the cleaners are around, we recommend that you store all your valuables in a safe and secure area, or take them with you when you leave.
